I did use-Patrick's self report guide-my wife filled out a third party function reportand I made certain that they rec'd any and all appropriate VA medical info by separate faxes confirmed by phone...

That time frame shouldn't be a problem...sounds like the next step is to appeal. If you end up appealing to the ALJ level you might have your VA rating by the time you have your hearing. It could help.

You might try a private doctor or look up a local Vet Center and set up an appointment with a counselor there.They have VA PCP's and Psy's come in once a week to help vets. They don't mind filling out...
